PORK BELLY WITH SPICY, SWEET AND SALTY SOY SAUCE

If you love savory dishes with a strong flavor, fragrant burnt edges, and thick sauce that goes well with rice, you must try this dish right away! It's super easy to make, no need for fancy ingredients, but the finished product is "the best"

Ingredients:

- Pork belly: 500g (choose the type with both lean and fat)

- Garlic: a few crushed cloves

- Tapioca starch or cornstarch: 1 tablespoon

The sauce includes:

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (soy sauce)

- 1 tablespoon rice wine (can use white wine for cooking)

- 1 tablespoon white sugar

- A little salt

- A little white pepper (or ground black pepper)

How to make:

1. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces. Mix with the mixed sauce and 1 tablespoon of tapioca starch, knead well to let the meat absorb.

2. Heat the pan, add the meat and fry over medium heat until both sides are golden brown.

3. Add crushed garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.

4. Pour in the remaining sauce, stir-fry until the sauce thickens and coats the meat evenly, and you're done!

This dish is best served hot with white rice. Fatty, fragrant, rich in flavor, and goes extremely well with rice!

📌 *Note:* You can add a little chili powder if you like a mildly spicy taste.
