Clove Hibiscus Wrinkle Eraser Gel: Better Than Botox

How to prepare this medicine

Full details in this video 👇

This glow-boosting DIY gel combines hibiscus (“nature’s AHA flower”), clove’s antioxidant power, and a soothing aloe base to deliver a silky, fast-absorbing formula you can use day or night. The goal: smoother fine lines, plumper-feeling skin, and a soft-focus glow—without heavy creams. It layers beautifully under sunscreen by day and over light serums at night

Ingredients Required

Aloe vera gel (pure, cosmetic-grade without added alcohols) – 4 tbsp

Dried hibiscus petals (or hibiscus tea) – 2 tbsp

Whole cloves – 6–8 pieces

Vegetable glycerin – 1 tsp

Rose water – 1-2 tbsp (adjust for texture and scent)

Vitamin E oil (from 1-2 capsules) – 6-8 drops

Green tea (freshly brewed, cooled) – 1 tbsp (optional boost)

Honey – ½ tsp (optional slip + humectancy)

Procedure

Make a hibiscus concentrate.

Add the hibiscus petals to ½ cup hot water; steep 10-12 minutes for a deep infusion. Strain and let cool completely.

Mild clove infusion

Prepare the gel base.

In a clean bowl, whisk aloe vera gel until smooth.

Stir in glycerin and rose water for slip and spreadability.

Antioxidant boosters.

Add vitamin E oil (pierce capsules and squeeze in drops).

Fold in 1 tbsp cooled green tea and ½ tsp honey if using

Tint & balance.

Add 1-3 tsp of the hibiscus-clove infusion to the aloe base, a little at a time, to achieve a soft pink hue and light, serum-gel texture. Mix until uniform.

Decant.

Transfer to a sterilized, airtight glass jar. Refrigerate 2-3 hours to let micro-bubbles settle and texture set.

Texture goal: a light, bouncy gel that spreads thinly and absorbs without tack. If too thick, whisk in ½-1 tsp more rose water; if too thin, whisk in a bit more aloe.

Instructions, how to use

Patch test first. Apply a pea-sized amount to the jawline or inner arm for 24 hours. Discontinue if redness or stinging occurs.

AM use: After cleansing, apply a thin layer to damp skin, wait about a minute, then seal with a light moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.

PM use: After cleansing/toner, apply a thin layer; follow with face oil or night cream if desired.

Frequency: 1-2× daily for normal/combination skin; start with 3-4 nights/week for sensitive skin.

Shelf life: Store in the refrigerator and use within 10-14 days. Always use clean fingers or a spatula.

Benefits of the DIY

Hydration & plump look: Aloe helps bind water and supports softness and elasticity, helping fine lines look less noticeable.

“Bouncy” glow: Hibiscus contains organic acids and compounds that can support hyaluronic acid production and modestly help collagen, contributing to a fresh, smoother look.

Long-lasting moisture: Glycerin is a well-known humectant that helps retain water in the skin’s outer layer for better texture.

Antioxidant defense: Green tea polyphenols and vitamin E assist in neutralizing free radicals from environmental stressors, supporting skin barrier function.

Calming finish: Rose water offers a gentle, aromatic addition that helps soothe the skin, enhancing the feel-good factor.

Tips & Tweaks

Sensitive skin: Reduce clove steep time to 2-3 minutes or omit; keep vitamin E to a minimum.

Oily/acne-prone: Skip honey; keep glycerin low to avoid tack.

Dry skin: Add a bit of squalane or a drop of face oil on top after the gel absorbs.

Summer vs. winter: In humid months, use less glycerin; in drier weather, current ratios help counter moisture loss.

Safety Notes

Natural doesn’t always mean non-irritating. Clove’s essential compounds may trigger sensitivity for some; vitamin E can also cause irritation for others. Always patch test and avoid use on broken or compromised skin. Discontinue if stinging or redness

 occurs.
