🍫 Delicious Chocolate Cake with Cake Flour & Sugar
Rich, moist, and packed with chocolate flavor — perfect for any occasion!
✅ Ingredients:
1 cup cake flour (sifted)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup hot water or brewed coffee (for deeper flavor)
1 tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Grease and flour a round cake pan or line with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, sift together the cake flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Combine wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Mix wet into dry:
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth and lump-free.
5. Add hot water/coffee:
Slowly mix in the hot water or coffee. The batter will be thin – that’s okay! It helps make the cake moist.
6. Bake:
Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Cool & serve:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Frost or enjoy plain!
