1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk


1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk


½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4–5 limes)


Zest of 2 limes


1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder


¼ cup cold water


Optional: Additional lime zest for garnish

1. Bloom the Gelatin


In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water.


Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom (absorb the water).


Once bloomed, microwave for 10–15 seconds until fully dissolved. Stir well.

In a blender, add the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, lime juice, lime zest, and the dissolved gelatin.
